Do I pay postage when I buy a product from you?
No, not even 1p! Whatever you buy on this site comes with absolutely 100% FREE postage. For more information see our 'Delivery & Returns' page
You can contact us primarily through our contact form on the 'Contact Us' page. Here you can submit any questions or queries regarding the website. You can also use the contact form to submit any gaming news links you think are eligible, if we use a link you sent us you will be mentioned in the article on our 'News' page.
How do I trade a game with you?
All you have to do fill out the trade in form on our 'Trade' page and we will send you a quote the same day, you send your games in and we give you cash or credits for those items. For a more detailed explanation see our 'How It Works' page.
We accept Playstation 3, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii, Nintendo DS/DS Lite/DSi, PSP, Playstation 2 Games and all Blu-ray movies. We do not trade in used consoles, used accessories or any formats not mentioned.
Why has the quantity of a certain item automatically changed in my basket?
The change has been made because we have low stock at the moment, but you can help with this by trading your old games in here. Obviously we cannot supply you with more items than we actually stock.
How many games or movies can I trade at once?
As many or as few as you like, there are no limits. If you have 1 game or 100, Glow Gaming will always try to send you a quote.
Do I have to pay for the postage when I trade games or movies?
Yes, you do pay for the postage. However we do give you in return 0.5 extra Glow Credits or 75% of the postage (Royal mail standard parcel delivery)(which ever is closest to actual postage costs) for every game your successfully trade with us. These credits will be added to your Glow Gaming account at the same time we make the trade in payment to you. If you do not have or decided not to sign up to a Glow Gaming account at the time of trading, then don't worry, you have 5 days to sign up from the trade in payment date and send us a quick email from the contact form, including your unique Glow Gaming trade form number which can be found in your trade in form email we sent you (example #TR-36). If you have not signed up and sent the message within this time period, you will lose all these extra credits.
What conditions of games and movies do you accept?
We require that all games and Blu-ray's meet an acceptable condition, full detail of these conditions can be found here. Any games or Blu-ray's that do not meet these requirements will be rejected and will be recycled free of charge. If some of your discs are rejected, then you will receive an email detailing why. Rejected discs can be returned to you if you wish, but you will incur P&P charges.
Do I have to use my all Glow Credits when making a purchase?
No, at the checkout you are given a choice. When checking out you will be able to see how many credits you have remaining, you can use as little or as many credits as you have available. You can save up your Glow Credits for as long as your Glow Gaming account is active.

Do I need a Glow Gaming account to trade with you?
No, you can trade with us without signing up. However you will not be eligible to select Glow Credits as a payment option. Our Glow Credit trade in prices are always higher than normal cash prices; also you will not be able to take advantage of our extra credits for postage scheme.
Is my Glow Gaming account secure?
Yes, we are very security minded and on the pages that matter, we have 128bit encryption security. If you forget your password, we use the email address system so there are no security questions that can be easily guessed.
Is the trade in quoted price what I will receive?
No, this price could change depending on if your games/Blu-ray's fail to meet our standards detailed here. We will deduct 60p/0.6 credits for refurbishment, if the disc is damaged and 30p/0.3 credits if the case is broken.
You reported that my discs are below your acceptable conditions, what happens now?
You have 2 options, you can either do nothing and we will recycle the rejected games free of charge or you can ask for your rejected games to be returned, however this is a service you will incur a charge for. Rejected games will only be returned once you have paid the correct amount for P&P. If have not replied within 5 days, we will automatically recycle your rejected games.
A trade in quote will last for 7 days from the day sent, the quote ends at midnight GMT on the 7th day or when you reply and accept the quote.
How will I know when you have received my trade in games?
We will send you an email to say your games/movies are currently being tested. If you do not hear from us within 7 days of sending your items then please contact us through our
Yes, if you haven't sent the games in yet then just don't do anything and after 7 days your trade in will automatically cancel. If you have already sent your games in and wish to change your mind, we will send them back to you, but you will incur the P&P return costs. These costs must be paid before your trade in items are returned.
How long does it take to for my account to be credited or to receive my cash?
The testing phase normally takes 1-3 days from receipt of your games, once that has been completed your account will be credited instantly if you have chosen Glow Credits, up to 2 hours if you have chosen PayPal (depending on PayPal) and up to 5 days if you have chosen cheque (depending on Royal Mail).
What can I use Glow Credits for?
Glow Credits are redeemable against everything for sale on this website. Glow Credits hold no monetary value outside of this website and cannot be exchanged for cash.
I have made a purchase, when will it arrive?
You should receive your purchase between 2-5 working days from dispatch date. This doesn't take into account any current or ongoing Royal Mail disputes, back-ups or strikes. Please see your local news for information about possible delays.
I have made a purchase, can I cancel it?
Yes, you can cancel the order by sending a quick email through our contact form. Please include the order number of the purchase you wish to cancel (example #GG-57). You can only cancel complete orders and not part of a order. Please be aware that once your order starts to be processed then we cannot cancel it.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit/debit cards, PayPal and of course Glow Credits as forms of payment.
What conditions are pre-owned games for sale in?
All our games have been thoroughly tested and where needed they have been refurbished. Some games are discounted even further than normal due to missing Manuals/covers or tatty boxes, but the discs will always be in a playable condition. These further discounted games will always explain the reason for discount in the description.
What countries do you post to?
At present we will only post to the UK.
Why haven't I received my order yet?
This may be due to an error or a problem with Royal Mail. Please wait 15 days from the receipt of your dispatch email notification and then contact us through our contact form, please include your order number from the purchase that is missing (example #GG-57).
I have received a pre-owned game or movie that does not work; can I get a refund or replacement?
We cannot offer you a replacement on pre-owned games because our stock is always changing. Please contact us through our contact form to describe your problem. To return the item please see the 'Delivery & Returns' page for more information.
If I sign up for your newsletter, will you share my details with others?
No we do not share your details with any 3rd party.
