How to trade your games:

• Fill in our trade contact form with your game/blu-ray details
• We will quickly email you with a cash & credit quote
• Once you accept the quote, send your games/movies to us
• We test & approve your items as soon as they arrive
• Your appropriate cash/credits are allocated

 

Glow Credits & how to use them:

Glow Credits are our 'website currency', when you trade in a game or Blu-ray movie we give you Glow Credits. These credits can be used to pay for any products on this site. You can keep an eye on your current level of used & remaining Glow Credits in 'My Account'. When checking out with any purchase you will be asked how many, if any Glow Credits you wish to use. Please round up to the nearest whole number of Glow Credits, the exact amount will then be deducted from your total. 1 Glow Credit is equal to £1.00 GBP. Glow Credits do NOT have a time limit on them; they will remain on your account as long as your account is live.

 

 How & when you get paid/credited:

Once we receive your games or movies they will be checked & tested, this usually takes 1-2 days depending on our current volume. After this process we allocate the appropriate cash or credits to you. When you receive a quote you will notice that we offer a GREATER trade in value for Glow Credits than cash. How you get paid is up to you. We have 3 options, Glow Credits (fastest method), PayPal transfer (up to 2 hours), or Personal cheque through the post (up to 5 days depending on postal service). The paid amount may in rare cases differ from the original quote, see the 'Trade Conditions' section for more details.

 

Gain extra Glow Credits:

For every console game or blu-ray movie you successfully trade in, we will add 0.5 Glow Credits or 75% of the postage cost in credits (calculated by the weight of your games, sent by Royal Mail standard parcel delivery)(which ever is closer to actual cost) to your Glow Gaming account* (see more info in FAQ's), this is to help you cover your postage. When you post you games to us we advise you to get a postage receipt as proof of purchase from your post office.

 

Condition types explained:

We have 3 condition types when you trade in your games or blu-ray movies, we will explain what each one means

• Excellent Condition: All items you are trading are in excellent condition with the disc having none or only a few very light surface scratches.
• Good Condition: All items you are trading are in good condition with the disc having a few surface scratches.
• Poor Condition: All items you are trading are in poor condition with the disc having many surface scratches.

  Regardless of condition, all game & movie discs must be fully playable. The better condition your games or movies are in, the higher the amount of cash or credits you will receive. For full deatils about 'Trade Conditions', see here.

 

Trade in valuations & quotes:

We base our trade in valuations on various factors, but we always try to give you better value than high street stores and most of our online competitors. The factors that will affect your game or movie values are: age, popularity, saturation, condition and demand.
