Sony announced today plans to release PlayStation 3 consoles in a new "classic white" colour with an increase in hard drive space later this month in Japan.
There will be two separate models, a 160GB and 320GB version, replacing the older 120GB and 250GB units. Both will be available in black and white. The 160GB unit will retail for 29,980 yen (£225), the same price as the current 120GB unit. The 320GB model will cost 34,980 yen (£263).
The new models will go on sale in Japan starting July 29. It's unclear as of now if these models will come to North America and PAL regions.
Fingers crossed they do as the white version looks superiorly gorgeous against the now dull cheaply looking black slim. If those prices are correct we would gladly pay the extra £38 for almost triple the storage.
